Welcome. I’m Melanie Dragger, owner of Literata Editorial. Based in Austin, Texas, I have more than 20 years of content writing and editing experience with leading global law firms, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations. I am also a writer for prominent literary publications, including Kirkus Reviews and American Library Association’s Booklist magazines, with my work spanning a variety of nonfiction genres, including the arts, education, travel and culture, current events, and social issues. Additionally, I am founding editor of Literary West Review and a member of the National Book Critics Circle.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations and marketing with highest honors from the University of Denver.
